2010 Montana Flooring Update

We took ownership of our beloved 2010 Keystone Montana on January 2, 2010.  Eight years later, we decided to give our camper an update, starting with the flooring.  We decided that the couch had to be removed and that area would be setup with a permanent dog cage, puzzle storage, a new cabinet, a larger place for the dogs to look our window and storage for the DirecTV dish.

The original layout in 2010.

Phase 1 – Couch removal and Tear-out

The couch removal was problematic because it was heavy (225# according to the county dump scales) and  it was bulky!  I had to remove the feet and enlist help from my neighbor to get that out of the trailer and into the back of the truck.

Phase 2 – Installation of new flooring

Phase 3 – Trim it out

And finally the step well with new edging.

Phase 4 – Cabinet Building
